Open Studios Pop Up at Old Ambo

The event will give up to 5 artists the opportunity to showcase their work in a 'pop up studio space' as part of Arts Connect Inc's Open Studios Sunshine Coast 2025.

As part of the day participants would be encouraged to create work / do demonstrations as part of engaging the visitors to the event. Artists will need to bring along their own art materials.

LOCATION: Old Ambo Station Nambour - 80 Howard Street, Nambour
DATE: SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, MAY 17 AND 18
TIME: 10am - 2pm
COST: $100 + Arts Connect Membership
WORKSHOP SPACE: If you would like to run a workshop at the Old Ambo during the week Monday May19 - Friday May 23 cost is $20.

What would be provided for artists use
Each artist will have access to 2 x fold up tables / 2 chairs, some display area.

Artwork Sales: If artists want to sell work they can sell directly to visitors – no commission required for the gallery (Note: float and square card reader would be the responsibility of the artist).

Bump In / Set Up : from 8.3am on the Saturday morning May 17, studio displays will need to be set up by 10am.

Bump Out / Pack up: from 2pm – 3pm on Sunday afternoon, Sunday, May 18.

I understand that my acceptance into the Open Studios Sunshine Coast event depends on availability. I will be refunded the total amount I have paid if rejected for any reason. In return for this investment, all artists will have their participation in the Pop Up event promoted as part of the event in our printed Studio Guide to be distributed throughout the Sunshine Coast in the weeks prior to the event. They may also be featured in our social media, and editorial coverage.
