Jane was originally from the Pilbara region of WA and comes from a family of painters. She has travelled throughout the world and lived in Australia and Canada. New landscapes, cultures and people are her primary inspiration.
Jane uses oils, acrylic and inks to depict figurative scenes, portraits and landscapes. She strives to gain the essence of her subject or scene, deepening the mystery, and inviting the viewer to investigate the painting further. She has studied at Curtin University, undertaken residencies in Canada and QLD, and has work held in both public and private collections.
