Sharon is a vibrant Sunshine Coast artist with a rich creative history. She began her career after earning a Diploma of Point of Sale Graphics, working as a graphic designer in London and Sydney during the 1980s and 1990s. Her creative journey has spanned hand-painted resort wear collections, color consulting and styling, prop design, and teaching art. Sharon has also collaborated with interior designers and developers, creating original artworks for hotels, resorts, and homes across Australia.
Currently, Sharon works primarily with acrylics, watercolors, and mixed media on canvas and paper, while also exploring the world of ceramics. Her artworks are uplifting, colorful, and energetic, reflecting her playful and intuitive approach. She thrives on experimentation, embracing a fluid and boundary-free creative process.
Inspired by the natural beauty of the Sunshine Coast, Sharon channels her love for Australian natives, the tropical coastal lifestyle, and the stunning colors of nature into her work. "Inspiration is everywhere," she says. "I'm like an overexcited child, constantly captivated by the beauty around me."
