Katie White is an emerging artist and printmaker based in Maleny, on Jinibara country. Following a long career in speech pathology, audiology, and remedial therapy, she redirected her focus toward the visual arts, pursuing a lifelong passion for creative expression. A linocut workshop in 2018 ignited her interest in printmaking, which has since evolved into a dedicated and growing practice. Her work spans fine art prints, handmade and artists’ books, and wearable art, often incorporating natural materials and a multi-media approach. This year she is exploring larger works on paper and canvas as well as wearable art and books.
