Jacky Lowry
Jacky Lowry is an artist/printmaker. Her introduction to this diverse disciple was as a mature-aged student at the University of South Australia, and it was love at first contact. Jacky specialises in collagraphs and monotypes made with fresh, real plant material. She is inspired by nature, a focus initially developed while growing up along a river bank in Western Australia. Jacky's art illustrates her love of nature's subtle tertiary colours, and the details and features of plants forms that she delights in a leaf shape, vein patterns, and the elegant, calligraphic ways grasses and plant branchlets deport themselves.
