PRINTMAKING & TEXTILES
Maleny artist Kim Herringe is passionate about printmaking. The natural environment is her primary source of inspiration, recreating and sharing its calming moments in her work. Taking a multi-disciplinary approach, Kim works with and explores many different forms of printmaking, including linocut, monoprinting, cyanotype, etching, eco-printing and letterpress printing. With these many different meditative printmaking processes, combined with her subject matter, Kim feels connected to the present moment. Kim’s studio in North Maleny is where she creates and teaches, sharing the craft in many of its inky, painterly and organic forms.
