Magali Feuga

, ,

Magali Feuga is a French Australian artist working across sculpture and painting. Her practice centres on the human form, exploring identity, and cultural heritage through tactile processes. Raised aboard her parents’ sailboat, creativity emerged early as a language of curiosity and exploration. She later studied art in France and continued to develop her practice while travelling globally as a private chef, shaping her sensitivity to culture and connection. Her work focuses on portraits and figures, symbolic of shared experience. Using materials like cardboard and natural fibres, her sculptures evoke contemporary relics and invite reflection on memory, ancestry and collective heritage.
