Margaret Ellen Turner

Margaret paints from her subjective and personal experience of the real world, not simply capturing an image of what she can see, but reliving her connection to its quirkiness, vastness, diversity (including rank stupidity) but mostly its dumbfounding complexity and beauty. 20 years an exhibiting sculptor now a painter it is important for Margaret to be physically engaged in mark-making and while the subject matter remains what is it to be human and alive, she continually experiments with different ways to apply and move the paint.
