Narelle Mulrooney is an artist based at Mudjimba Beach Art Studio on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. In 2016 she completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Fine Art and Visual Culture at Curtin University, graduating with High Distinction and Vice-Chancellor’s List recognition. Her practice is multidisciplinary, often developed in series, and explores nature through colour, light, tone and abstraction. She works across painting, printmaking and sculptural ceramics. Her work is exhibited at Peace of Green Gallery in Maleny. Committed to sustainability, she uses non-toxic, recycled materials and draws inspiration from Thancoupie, Banksy and M. C. Escher within her contemporary practice.
