Patricia aims to highlight the small gems found in ordinary, everyday things, places or people that, in the rush of our daily life, we might otherwise not notice or we forget to appreciate. She wants her paintings to inspire joy.
Her subjects and compositions are mostly colourful recreations or deconstructions of reality. Her art is inspired by things such as a passing glimpse through a window, people at a cafe or a collection of knick knacks.
Believing that creating art should be fun and uplifting, her favourite subjects include still life and flowers, quirky people, aerial landscapes and textured abstracts.
