Fleur Colgan is a ceramic artist based in the Maleny Hinterland on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, working from her newly established studio. Currently completing a Diploma of Visual Arts, she brings a long-standing connection to clay. Her practice spans wheel-thrown and hand-built ceramics, with a focus on thrown forms. She embraces subtle variations in shape, glaze, and surface, allowing each piece to emerge uniquely. Inspired by her natural surroundings, Fleur works intuitively, layering glazes to create depth and movement.
