Judith challenges the viewer to actively engage with art and see the world differently through her distinctive and unconventional, tactile, interactive sculptural works that weave science, natural history, and literature into whimsical, visual surprises, fibre puns and metaphorical “whacks on the side of the head”. Judith writes her fibre stories with reclaimed fibres and textiles that take on new meaning when seen in the spirit of Palimpsest. Judith, like Poe, believes that “From childhood’s hour I have not been as others were; I have not seen as others saw.”
