Tania Small is intrigued by the power of art to transport the viewer to a memory and a feeling. In painting a still life composition, Tania Small is inviting the viewer to share a personal experience, adding their own interpretation, sentiment and memory. Each painting a snapshot taken from the visual diary of life. Having just returned from her second artist residency in France, Tania's current works are heavily influenced by the history of and life spent living in a French Chateau. Both detailed oil paintings and smaller watercolour studies will be on display at her Open Studio.
