STUDIO SELF ASSESSMENTS

In order to conduct a safe and cohesive Open Studios Sunshine Coast (OSSC), we need to ensure all studios comply with safety standards and protect the safety of visitors.
Therefore we require all participating artists to complete the checklist below, and in the case of non compliance please let us know of any issues you may think might put visitors at risk. Together we will then assess the issue/s more closely with you, and endeavour to rectify them.
Should for any reason the organisers decide a studio visit is required to check compliance, we will request a visit with you at a mutually beneficial time.

Please ensure your studio complies with the following by selecting yes or no.

Can you ensure COVID regulations effective during OSSC are observed in your studio space ie social distancing and hand sanitising? *

Can you ensure all potentially harmful equipment is stored away ie solvents, tools, machinery? *

Is entry to your studio impeded in any way, or difficult to access ie trip hazards or domestic animals? *

Does your studio have clear walkways not impeded by object like sharp objects or extension leads etc? *

Do you have adequate parking ie street access or onsite? *

Is your studio clean and presentable (as much as possible taking into consideration the nature of your arts practice)? *

Is your studio free of any potentially harmful or offensive material that may reflect poorly on this all ages event? *

Does your space have adequate entry and exit access in the case of a fire or emergency? *

Can you ensure your studio space will be easy to find for visitors? *

Have you read the Artist's Guidelines on the OSSC website? *

Can you ensure the studio space will be attended for the hours specified in the OSSC agreement? *

Do you have third party insurance in the case of injury, as you are not covered by Arts Connect with this event? *
